I have an issue when I subscribe a mod from Workshop it doesn't initiate the download. If it does initiate it, it shows up in downloads but doesn't progress at all. If I restart Steam the download is gone and nothing happens. I have created 'mod' directory into my /documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/ and I'm sure that I have read and write permissions there as well. what if i am not using steam to download the mod what if it moddb or others were would the descriptor.mod go After you unpacked the zip or rar file, you move the modname folder and modname.mod file into Documents/Paradox interactive/CK2/mod.
